Petition: Freeze Council Tax Now

Kingston residents now pay the highest Council Tax in England thanks to Kingston Lib Dems. Council Tax in Kingston has soared almost 16% under Kingston Lib Dems, costing the average resident an extra £287.20 a year. But services have been declining, with instances of missed bin collections, uncut verges, the Kingfisher closed, rising crime and anti-social behaviour, town centre businesses struggling, and Council policies causing traffic and parking chaos.

We believe residents should get value for money from the Council, and that the burdens Council Tax adds to their cost of living should not only ever increase. That is why we are launching a petition calling on the Council to ease the pressure on residents by freezing Council Tax, and keeping it frozen until they come up with a serious plan to provide better services at better value to residents.
